Incentive for Connections Engagement

WPD ICE Workplan 2018/19

The WPD 2018/19 ICE Workplan has been created in line with our Connections Strategy, using input from our broad range of connection stakeholders through our ongoing programme engagement activities. The priority issues which have been identified as a result of feedback from our engagement activities throughout the 2017/18 period such as our DG Workshop, our WPD Stakeholder workshops and our Competition in Connection events. We have used these discussions and feedback to prioritise the issues and to identify and formulate a set of initiatives to address them. Our Connection Customer Steering Group panel provide input into these priorities and help us to refine the priorities and areas of focus. The initiatives in the ICE Workplan aim to provide the changes and improvements required by our stakeholders.

The ICE Workplan will develop though the year where further initiatives are identified through our stakeholder engagement and added. These new initiatives will be clearly identified when we publish updates so that stakeholders can easily track our progress. It is important to us that all of our stakeholders can engage with our ICE Workplan to ensure that we are meeting their requirements. We have kept the format of the ICE Workplan simple and straightforward to ensure that it is accessible for all stakeholders so that our objectives are clear and can be tracked throughout the year.

We have grouped the initiatives into a series of focus areas along with the feedback which prompted them. Each initiative is numbered according to their focus area, for ease of reference and to track new additions. Initiatives have a target date for completion and a column indicating the measures we will use to identify success. As updates are published there will be a column indicating the current status and progress.

We would welcome any feedback you have on our ICE Workplan throughout 2018/19, please send your feedback to: wpdconnectionpolmids@westernpower.co.uk

Customer feedback for the 2015/16 Workplan advised that WPD could do more to make customers aware of the progress being made against the initiatives in the ICE Workplan. In response, WPD committed to provide regular updates of the Workplan on at least a quarterly basis.
