As part of WPD's ongoing engagement cycle, stakeholders were also asked to discuss the long term strategic priorities they believe will influence the way WPD operates in the future and suggest ways WPD can begin to address these in the coming years.

April 2015 Workshops - Resilience of Small/Medium Businesses

We held two dedicated stakeholder workshops specifically targeted at small/medium businesses.

It is important to us that we understand the impact of our operations on these businesses - particularly in the event of a loss of power, due to a severe weather incident, for example. We want to understand the issues that we can work together on, to improve our service in a number of areas including providing a reliable electricity supply, the impact of our day-to-day operations on small/medium businesses and the provision of new connections to the network.
